What kind of lead do you want?

How to read the ranking

The ranking orders counties by the share their foreclosure, probate, divorce, tax sale and partition filings take up for the lead type you picked, so the top county is the one most made of that kind of case. It is a ranking by mix, not by volume: it does not say how many filings a county has, how many will sell, or what they will sell for, and a county lower down may still have plenty of that lead type. Use it to find where a lead type is the heart of a county, then open the county to see the rest of its mix.

The share of owners who live elsewhere is the share of those filings, where the owner's mailing address is known, that list an address other than the property. Counties with too few filings to be meaningful, and counties where Keystone sees only one kind of filing, are not ranked.
