Keystone Court Data ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at keystonecourtdata.com and the associated platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors and customers, how we use it, and what choices you have.
By using our website or services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. What We Collect
We collect different types of information depending on how you interact with our platform:
Trial request form: name, email address, phone number, professional role, and county preferences.
County request form: name, email address, and the county you are requesting.
Account registration: name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never stored or visible in plain text.
Payment information: payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or full card details on our servers. See Section 3 for more details.
Analytics data: we collect page views, click events, scroll depth, and similar usage data through our self-hosted analytics system. This includes hashed IP addresses (truncated SHA-256 hashes, not full IP addresses), user agent strings, referrer URLs (domain only), and UTM campaign parameters. We also use Google Analytics (GA4) on our marketing pages. See Section 4 for more details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate our real estate lead data service
- To create and manage your account
- To process trial requests and activate trial access
- To send account-related emails, including trial activation, login links, and subscription confirmations
- To process payments through Stripe
- To analyze website usage and improve our platform
- To respond to county requests and customer inquiries
We do not sell the personal data of our users or subscribers. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. Payment Processing
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you subscribe to a county or purchase lead credits, your payment details are submitted directly to Stripe's secure servers. We receive confirmation of your payment status, subscription details, and a Stripe customer identifier, but we never receive or store your full card number.
Stripe's collection and use of your payment information is governed by their own privacy policy.
4. Cookies and Tracking
Session cookies: we use cookies named kcd_session and kcd_user_session to keep you logged in to your account. These are essential for the platform to function and are set only when you log in.
Local storage: we use your browser's localStorage to save interface preferences such as display settings. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Self-hosted analytics: our analytics system tracks page views, clicks, and scroll depth to help us understand how people use our website. We store hashed and truncated IP addresses (not your full IP address), the domain of the referring website, your browser's user agent string, and any UTM parameters from the URL. This data is stored on our own servers and is not shared with third parties.
Google Analytics (GA4): we use Google Analytics on our marketing pages to understand traffic sources and visitor behavior. Google Analytics may set its own cookies and collects data according to Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Hashed password storage (passwords are never stored in plain text)
- Hashed and truncated IP addresses in analytics (we do not store full IP addresses)
- Access controls limiting who on our team can view customer data
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
